TrueShift Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, downloading, or using TrueShift, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use TrueShift. TrueShift is not intended for children under 13.

2. Who provides TrueShift

TrueShift is a product of VIRRAZO LLC. References to "TrueShift" in these Terms include the TrueShift app and related Virrazo websites and services.

3. Accounts, security and Google sign-in

Some features require an account. You may sign in with Google or another available method. You agree to give accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials and device secure, and tell us promptly at info@virrazo.com if you believe your account has been used without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's terms.

4. Free and Premium service

TrueShift offers a Free plan. Premium is an optional paid subscription with additional features, and may include a 14-day trial where offered. The features included in each plan may change over time.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Where applicable, Premium subscriptions are purchased, billed, renewed, managed and cancelled through Google Play, under your Google account. The pricing, trial availability, renewal and subscription terms displayed through Google Play at the time of purchase control the transaction. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account settings.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the current paid period. Cancelling does not automatically provide a refund. Refunds are governed by applicable law and Google Play's refund policies. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

7. Estimates for informational and recordkeeping purposes

TrueShift provides mileage, earnings, expense, profitability, tax-reserve, deduction and related figures. These are estimates for informational and recordkeeping purposes only. They do not guarantee any particular deduction, tax outcome, income or result.

8. Not professional advice

TrueShift is not tax, legal, accounting, financial or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying your records and for consulting a qualified professional about your own situation where appropriate.

9. Automated measurements

GPS and location, mileage, Smart Catch, Bluetooth, motion and activity detection, and other automated measurements may be inaccurate, interrupted or unavailable. They can be affected by device settings, permissions, operating-system restrictions, battery optimization, hardware, connectivity and other factors outside our control. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting your records.

10. Your records, local storage and backups

Shift, mileage, earnings, expense, vehicle, tax-setting and Smart Catch records you create are primarily stored locally on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. We generally cannot recover these records if your device is lost, reset or the app's data is cleared. You are responsible for using the available export and backup tools and for protecting any backup files you create.

11. Account deletion and local records

Deleting your TrueShift account and removing records stored on your device are separate processes. Deleting your account deletes the server-side account information described in the Privacy Policy; it does not automatically erase records stored locally on your device. You can remove local records using Clear All Data in Settings. Deleting your account also does not cancel a Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed and cancelled through Google Play. 12. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use TrueShift for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose, including falsifying records;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell TrueShift, except as the law allows;
• interfere with, overload, or try to gain unauthorized access to TrueShift or its systems;
• bypass subscription, trial, or access limits;
• use TrueShift in a way that distracts you from driving safely or violates traffic laws.

13. Intellectual property

TrueShift, Virrazo, and their software, designs, logos, branding and content are owned by VIRRAZO LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TrueShift under these Terms. You keep ownership of the records you enter.

14. Third-party services

TrueShift relies on third-party services, including Google (sign-in and Android services), Google Play (distribution and billing), and Lovable and Supabase (hosting, authentication and backend infrastructure) where applicable. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

15. Availability, changes and termination

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue all or part of TrueShift at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect TrueShift, other users or the law. You may stop using TrueShift and delete your account at any time.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrueShift is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VIRRAZO LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, tax penalties or missed deductions, arising from your use of TrueShift. In all cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer protections you have under the law where you live.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of TrueShift after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
